"Seasonal Men"
Merle Winters and Bob Summers make a play on their seasonal names.
Postcards often had a tinge of humor to them. This week鈥檚 Throwback Thursday takes a seasonal turn. Meet Merle Winters, dressed in winter clothing, and Bob Summers, in much cooler summer dress. Taken in Hartford, South Dakota, around 1910, these dapper gentlemen stand in a studio to get their photograph. Using a play on their names, these seasonal men have created a delightful postcard, titled 鈥淲inter and Summer.鈥
