Gettin’ the Word Out
An experienced farmer gives a demonstration to those learning the ways of agriculture.
In agricultural education, seeing often creates believers. Farm demonstrations have been common for many years. In this 1936 photo, a group of men stands in a small grain field, while another man educates them on their findings. The photo took place on the William Rames farm near Olivet in Hutchinson County. The field is actually a visual demonstration plot that educates the producer.
