In this week鈥檚 Throwback Thursday, a woman prepares the freshly broken prairie sod for crop use. She guides the horses through their work.
From Mellette County in 1913, the photo postcard depicts a woman working on the homestead. Also note that the log added enough weight to make her preparation successful. She is definitely all-in when it comes to making her farm a viable living.
