1948 4-H Leadership

The future leaders of 4-H lounging about outside a building.
The newly elected 4-H members are ready to take on strong leadership roles.

4-H adds a significant learning experience for many rural kids. It teaches them many skills, including leadership. This week鈥檚 Throwback Thursday celebrates this leadership.

The photo is of the new officers elected during 4-H club week on July 10, 1948. From left to right they are identified as Joe Rovere (president), Jim Adler (vice president), Patricia Zoellner (treasurer) and Marjorie Larson (reporter). These young people would lead 4-H into future, influencing many kids as they grew.
