Sanctuary presents a selection of sculptural and 3D artworks from the South Dakota Art Museum collection that explore themes of home and the protection, values and unpredictability that shape it. Alongside contemporary sculptures are cradle structures, thoughtfully crafted and adorned by Indigenous makers to offer comfort and protection to the children they once held.
