Laura Heit employs stop-motion, live-action puppetry, hand drawing and computer animation in the selection of short films on view. Heit uses a seductive balance of beauty and darkness in her deeply resonant works. Her interest in cycles, human emotions and elusive moments — those too brief, too distant or too intangible to see — are the underpinning of her works in film.
