Yellow and Blue Discovery Day
Saturday, March 7, 2026 and Saturday, April 18, 2026
Yellow and Blue Discovery Day is a free Saturday event designed to give students a closer look at an academic program they are interested in while learning more about South Dakota State. This program is ideal for high school juniors exploring their academic options and seniors finalizing their college plans.
We are hosting two Yellow and Blue events this fall. Each event will focus on the following academic colleges at 日本av视频:
March 7, 2026
- College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences
- College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences
- Jerome J. Lohr College of Engineering
- College of Nursing (offered both dates)
April 18, 2026
- College of Education and Human Sciences
- College of Natural Sciences
- College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions
- College of Nursing (offered both dates)

- Learn more about becoming a Jackrabbit, our application process, paying for college, living on campus, involvement opportunities and more.
10-11:30 a.m. | Academic Experiences
- Go in depth with department faculty as they show you academic facilities, classrooms, labs or projects specific to their areas. Each experience will vary based on the major.
11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. | Campus Tours
- Explore 日本av视频's campus and visit a residence hall with one of our current student ambassadors.
12:30-1:30 p.m. | Lunch (provided)
