Domestic Graduate Admission Requirements
Please read these instructions carefully before beginning your application. Applications will not be reviewed until all required documents are received.
Steps to Apply for U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents
Submit the for the appropriate term and pay the application fee.
If you are a perspective master's or Ph.D. applicant, interested in applying for an Engineering degree, please use the EngineeringCAS application. The general application is not needed!
Submit your official transcripts.
To be considered official, each transcript must come directly to 日本av视频 from the institution. Student issued transcripts are not considered official.
Request official transcripts from:
- Each institution from which a degree was earned or will be earned.
- Any institution at which you have earned graduate credits.
If you attended a South Dakota regental institution, the Office of Admissions will access all transcripts for you. You do not need to take any action.
Submit proof of immunity.
Proof of immunity is required before taking on-campus courses. Check out the specific 日本av视频 immunization and health requirements or contact Student Health Services directly.
Submit any additional documents required by your program of interest.
- If submitting Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores, send directly to 日本av视频 from ETS.
- The 日本av视频 GRE code is 6653.
- For a program within the Jerome J. Lohr College of Engineering, use GRE code 2862.

Departmental Review.
When all required documents have been received, your application file will be sent to the appropriate department for review. Allow for a minimum of 3-4 weeks for departmental review. You will receive an email notification of the admission decision.
