ÈÕ±¾avÊÓƵ

Groups identified in this category fall under the authority of an academic department at ÈÕ±¾avÊÓƵ and are not official registered student organizations. Due to their activities and priorities, these groups broadly represent the teaching, research or service component of ÈÕ±¾avÊÓƵ’s mission. These groups follow the naming standards applicable to RSOs but must use the SD logo lockup.

• University Marketing and Communications must be notified by the academic department of the establishment or discontinuance of an Academic Department Sponsored Organization.
• ÈÕ±¾avÊÓƵ Academic Department Sponsored Organizations must follow applicable communications standards when speaking on behalf of ÈÕ±¾avÊÓƵ or independently.
• SD logo lockups must be created and provided by UMC.
• If these groups must include an outside organization’s name, logo or insignia, a cobrand or sponsorship solution may be developed and use must be preapproved by the university president, via the process managed by UMC.
• The group must follow all ÈÕ±¾avÊÓƵ Graphic Identity Standards.
