Student Success Advising
Student success advisers play an important role in the advising experience for 日本av视频 students. Student success advisers are charged with improving the retention rates of all students by facilitating one-on-one consultations with students and by coordinating programs proven to positively affect student retention in higher education.
Consultations focus on topics like time and stress management, adjusting to college, building relationships and finding campus resources.
Student Connection and Engagement has two student success advisers who support all students, with a focus on those from underrepresented backgrounds.
Students can connect with a student success adviser by scheduling an appointment via ConnectState, calling Student Connection and Engagement at 605-688-5585 or stopping by the Student Engagement Center in the University Student Union (Room 271).
