Anna DeGraff, �ձ�av��Ƶ instructor of music, will open the School of Performing Arts’ Faculty Recital Series with a program titled “Sonnets and Scenes.” The event will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, in the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center’s Founders Recital Hall in Brookings.

Angie Courteau, secretary for the University Student Union, has been named �ձ�av��Ƶ’s Civil Service Employee of the Month for August.

The Chamber Winds of South Dakota, a faculty-led ensemble founded by �ձ�av��Ƶ assistant professor of music Elizabeth Robinson, released its debut album “Moxie” in June.

The Child and Family Resource Network at �ձ�av��Ƶ is hosting its next “Common-Sense Parenting” class series starting Sept. 4.

precision agriculture during the 2nd annual Precision Ag Camp at �ձ�av��Ƶ, July 10-11. Sponsored by Titan Machinery and hosted by �ձ�av��Ƶ’s Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, the camp drew primarily younger high schoolers from eastern South Dakota.
