�ձ�av��Ƶ’s School of Communication and Journalism is hosting its annual Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting Lecture Wednesday, April 22, at 7 p.m. in the University Student Union’s Hobo Day Gallery.

CHS Chief Executive Officer and President Jay Debertin will visit �ձ�av��Ƶ on April 24 to speak at the ECON 319 Seminar with Industry Leaders class.

�ձ�av��Ƶ’s annual Student Research, Scholarship and Creative Activity Day will feature a wide range of student projects on April 14, including 14 undergraduate research projects funded by the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences for the 2025-26 school year.

The �ձ�av��Ƶ Department of Natural Resource Management invites the public to attend its 2026 International Year of Rangeland and Pastoralists seminar. All are welcome to attend the event on Friday, April 17, at McCrory Gardens in Brookings.

�ձ�av��Ƶ professor Tyler Miller is the newly appointed director of the School of Psychology, Sociology and Rural Studies. He joined the �ձ�av��Ƶ faculty in 2012 after earning his Ph.D. in experimental cognitive psychology from Texas A&M University. Miller’s appointment will officially begin in June 2026.

�ձ�av��Ƶ’s College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions will hold its Medical Laboratory Science Day and Spring Convocation and Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, April 15.
