�ձ�av��Ƶ’s School of Design will host its annual juried student exhibit awards ceremony May 1 from 1:30-3 p.m.

The Music Teachers National Association has honored �ձ�av��Ƶ’s Mark Stevens as the recipient of the 2026 Gary L. Ingle State Leadership Service Award.

The �ձ�av��Ƶ School of Performing Arts will welcome the Rawlins Ensemble, featuring musicians Sonja Kraus and Eun-Hee Park, on campus later this month. The guest artists, both music faculty members at the University of South Dakota, will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. April 13 at the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center’s Founders Recital Hall.

The �ձ�av��Ƶ Concert Choir will present a powerful and deeply reflective performance of Johannes Brahms’ “Ein Deutsches Requiem” at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 29, in the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center’s Larson Memorial Concert Hall.

The �ձ�av��Ƶ School of Performing Arts will present two large-scale America250 celebration concerts on April 11, at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. in the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center.

American music history will come to life in Brookings as the �ձ�av��Ƶ School of Performing Arts presents “A Sousa Symposium” on April 10-11 at the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center.

The South Dakota Symphony Orchestra will present a rare and immersive cinematic experience as the finale of this year’s �ձ�av��Ƶ Chamber Music Series.

In a cultural moment that would typically require travel to Chicago, New York or Boston, two internationally celebrated ensembles will take the stage in Brookings — just minutes from home for regional audiences.

The �ձ�av��Ƶ Civic Symphony will present its first program of the spring semester, titled “Four Centuries of Symphony.” The concert is scheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, and will be held in the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center.

�ձ�av��Ƶ’s University Chamber Music Series continues its 2025-26 season with a special performance by the internationally acclaimed wind quintet Imani Winds at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, in the Founders Recital Hall at the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center.
