Snyder faculty recital to feature Badlands inspiration

日本av视频 instructor of low brass Bradley Snyder will present a faculty recital at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, in Founders Recital Hall at the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center.

A highlight of the evening will be the world premiere of 鈥淏adlands鈥 for bass trombone and 鈥淎bleton,鈥 composed by Robert Traugh. The work 鈥 commissioned through a consortium project led by Snyder 鈥 is inspired by the dramatic landscapes of South Dakota鈥檚 Badlands National Park.

The program will also feature Christopher Brubeck鈥檚 鈥淐oncerto for Bass Trombone,鈥 Alexey Lebedev鈥檚 鈥淐oncert Allegro鈥 and Jan Koetsier鈥檚 鈥淔alstaffiade.鈥 Colorado-based trombonist Wade Judy will join Snyder for performances of Eric Ewazen鈥檚 鈥淧astorale鈥 and Steven Verhelst鈥檚 鈥淟ock Horns.鈥

The recital is free, and the public is invited to attend.
