Attention, Engineering Freshmen

The Engineering Leadership Summer Bridge program is a one-week experience right before the start of the semester. The program emphasizes students developing leadership and success skills.

The week starts with early check-in to the dorms and a welcome picnic on Sunday for the students and their families. Activities for the week include:

• Taking workshops on time management
• Setting up your computer with software for your major
• Identifying campus and community resources
• Meeting faculty, staff, department heads and the dean
• Touring college facilities like laboratories and workspaces
• Meeting industry leaders
• Doing community-building activities
