Dear Campus Community—Spring is here, and we are busing planning for our 15th annual Spruce Up SDSTATE Day. The purpose of this event is to pick up litter and beautify our campus in a way that brings together students and campus employees and to celebrate the arrival of spring at ÈÕ±¾avÊÓƵ. The participation of colleges, student organizations and other work units from around the campus has grown every year, and this year we have high hopes to be no exception. We hope this year every College/Unit can participate. However, participation is not exclusive to academic colleges or student organizations, any group of campus employees (e.g., an office, department, organization, etc.) or student organization can participate in the fun.

How to get involved: College deans, directors and department heads: please consider promoting to one or more of your student organizations. Faculty and staff are encouraged to join in with students. Facilities & Services provides trash bags and gloves for the volunteers. ​

No pre-registration is required, if you are willing to help Spruce up SDSTATE just show up on Wednesday, April 22nd beginning at 5pm at the West entrance of the Student Union.
