• Experiment station annual reports and technical presentations: Update the latest progresses and explore the newest research and advancements in science and engineering for biobased industries and economy through technical presentations by experiment stations’ representatives, academic scholars, industry experts and professionals across the country.
• Industry updates: Stay informed about the latest trends, innovations and developments shaping the biobased industries and economy landscape with insightful industry updates.
• Student travel awards and poster competition: A National Science Foundation travel grant is applied to support students to attend the S1075 Annual Meeting and Symposium. All students will present their posters in the meeting on July 25. Five super posters will be selected from the posters for awards and certificates.
• Greetings and social networking: Connect with fellow professionals, colleagues and leaders in the fields during networking sessions and meetings designed to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange. Enjoy opportunities for casual networking and socializing with peers and industry professionals in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Key Speaker Panels

We are honored to welcome Victoria Finkenstadt, U.S. Department of Agriculture National Institute of Food and Agriculture national program leader, and other key speakers to be the speaker panel for the meeting on July 25, 2024. The panel will provide valuable insights and perspectives on the science and engineering for a biobased industry and economy and the updated of NIFA research programs and funding opportunities in the fields.
