The bombing of Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941, thrust America into World War II. From fields to factories and scrap drives to rationing, Americans rallied to do their part for the war effort. Farmers heard the call to increase production but were met with shortages in labor, equipment, seed and fuel. Regardless of these setbacks, farmers still produced record numbers of the essential food and fiber soldiers needed to help win the war.
This exhibit will be on display until March 1, 2025.
