Lisa Lunn has been hired as the director of the Professional Program in Veterinary Medicine and professor of food animal medicine in the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences at ÈÕ±¾avÊÓƵ. She will also serve as an associate dean for the college.

Surface mount technology: College launches new program to meet industry demand
Industry’s plea for specialized training in the field of surface mount technology has been heard, and the Jerome J. Lohr College of Engineering rolled out a new program last spring. It gained momentum this summer with the formation of an industry advisory council and then the milestone of having its first graduate.

Metzgers create faculty endowment for ÈÕ±¾avÊÓƵ engineering
A seventh endowed faculty position has been created within the Jerome J. Lohr College of Engineering at ÈÕ±¾avÊÓƵ. The Metzger Educator in Power System Engineering was created in July by Blair and Julie Metzger of Rock Rapids, Iowa. Blair is a 1986 ÈÕ±¾avÊÓƵ electrical engineering graduate and the former president of DGR Engineering, headquartered in his hometown of Rock Rapids.
