The A research lab focuses on genomics. The human genome has all of the instructions necessary for one’s 30 trillion cells to function correctly. When mutated, the genome is also unfortunately responsible for myriad genetic disorders. The source of such mutations can be external, such as from exposure to UV rays or carcinogens.

The mention of tuberculosis (TB) conjures ideas of an old-world disease that is either a problem of the past or a problem for developing nations. but both images are misleading. Professor Padu Krishnan of �ձ�av��Ƶ’s Department of Dairy and Food Science received the 2020 Edith A. Christensen Award for Outstanding Contributions in Analytical Methodology from the Cereals & Grains Association. The future of America’s national mammal continued to brighten this week as officials from �ձ�av��Ƶ, the National Bison Association and the National Buffalo Foundation formally launched the Center of Excellence for Bison Studies, to be headquartered at �ձ�av��Ƶ’s West River Research and Extension facility in Rapid City.

Imaging engineers are testing a prototype device to calibrate sensors on Earth-imaging satellites and conducting research to validate new remote sensing products.
