Biography

Dr. Erin DeHaan is an assistant professor in the Department of Animal Science for 日本av视频 and serves as an Extension beef specialist for the state of South Dakota.

She has managed a variety of research projects extending from beef cattle management and nutrition to consumer consumption. Her Extension efforts focus on educating producers about early calf management strategies to optimize performance and carcass characteristics.

She has been active in helping lead additional Extension programs centered around new farmer and rancher education, youth education about the beef industry and precision livestock technologies.
